Warren was appointed as director of legal and governance, and company secretary, of Golden Lane Housing in December 2019.

Brought up in what was at the time Council Housing, in a flat above a shop, after obtaining a Degree in English Literature, Warren decided to take a diversion which resulted in him becoming a Solicitor. Warren now has over 20 years experience in the Local Authority and Social Housing sectors, in London and the North West, specialising in civil litigation, housing and public law. With a career that spans successful appeals in the Court of Appeal, and advice to the Secretary of State on changes to legislation. 

Warren was a founding Director and Board Member of the Social Housing Law Association and is a firm believer that good housing is a vital platform for well being and life’s ambitions.

Warren has a keen interest in literature, current affairs and dog friendly travel and enjoys being taken for walks by his dog Phoxx.
