After six transformative years leading the development team at Golden Lane Housing, we will be bidding farewell to Abdul Latif, our Director of Development and Growth. Abdul has decided to pursue an exciting new challenge within the supported housing sector, and while we will miss him greatly, we wish him every success in this next chapter of his career.

During his time with us, Abdul has overseen the modernisation and growth of our development team, which has resulted in the delivery of remarkable projects. He leaves behind a strong legacy and a sustainable, exciting pipeline that positions us well for the future.

Reflecting on his time with Golden Lane Housing, Abdul shared: “After six wonderful years, I have made the decision to pursue a new challenge and will be leaving GLH at the end of this month. My time here has been an incredible journey, allowing me to work alongside so many dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to deliver much needed and impactful services. I will genuinely miss both GLH and my amazing colleagues.”

As we say goodbye to Abdul, we are thrilled to announce that Emily Collinson will be stepping into the role of Director of Development and Growth, effective January 2025. With over two decades of dedicated service at Golden Lane Housing, Emily brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the supported housing sector. In this pivotal role, Emily will spearhead GLH’s development programme, guiding the organisation into its next phase of growth and expansion. With Emily at the helm, the organisation is poised to continue its mission of providing high-quality, supportive housing solutions for people with a learning disability and autistic people.
