Golden Lane Housing and RE:GEN Complete Landmark Retrofit of 36 homes in the Northwest

Golden Lane Housing, in partnership with RE:GEN North West, is proud to announce the successful completion of a major project to retrofit 36 homes across the northwest.
The initiative marks a significant milestone in both organisations’ commitment to improving housing quality, enhancing sustainability, and delivering tangible benefits to tenants.
The retrofit project, which focused on upgrading homes with energy-efficient measures and modernising key facilities, aligns with Golden Lane Housing’s sustainability strategy. Designed to reduce carbon emissions, improve the energy performance of the housing stock, and provide tenants with more comfortable and energy-efficient living spaces.
Positive Impact on Tenants Tenants have expressed high levels of satisfaction with the retrofitting works, highlighting improvements such as lower energy bills. Golden Lane Housing’s commitment to tenant engagement throughout the project has ensured that the process was smooth and focused on meeting the specific needs of residents.
A tenant from one of the retrofitted homes shared, “The improvements have made a huge difference to me and I feel more comfortable knowing that my home is better for the environment.”
