At the start of November Golden Lane Housing Board members and Executive team met in Warwick for their annual strategy day, to discuss the organisation’s corporate plan and look at progress and performance. The annual event also known as Making Plans Day, has been instrumental to the creation and setting of our current 3 year plan which launched last year – Our Plan.

Our Plan sets out what we want to achieve as an organisation over the next 3 years and has 5 key objectives.

• Housing More People,
• Stronger Finances
• Working Together

Taking place over 2 days, the event again importantly provided an opportunity to speak to tenants who are part of our Board and Tenants Working Together group to hear about the things that matter to them. The Board always look forward to hearing tenants’ open and honest thoughts about how services are being delivered and ways to improve.

Stephen Smith, tenant member of Board and Tenants Working Together group said ‘For me the presentation went down well with Board and Executives. They enjoyed it and listened to us. We answered some of their questions about what should happen in 2024, and what we are looking forward to. We will go next year to see what’s happened since.”
